Having Better Photos is the first step to ensure Better Buyers and a Better Price!
Current data suggests that 93% of buyers start their home search on the internet. You MUST have great photos to tell the story of a property and ensure buyers take the next step to see the property in person.
Part of having better photos begins with preparing the property by utilizing the checklist to make the property look as beautiful as possible!
If you are staging the property, do so BEFORE the photo shoot.
Take a look at the CHECKLIST below (print) to help prepare for the shoot.
ALL ROOMS
- Open all window treatments.
- Remove pet items and children's toys.
- Clean windows
- Replace any burnt-out lightbulbs
- Lights on in all rooms
- Toilet seats down
- Family photos out of sight, if possible
KITCHEN
- Counters clear
- Sink clear
- Remove rugs or mats.
- Glass-front cabinets organized
- Remove kitchen towels
- Remove refridgerator art and magnets
EXTERIOR
- Move Cars, Boats, Or Bikes from Driveway and front curb
- Confirm all window treatments are open
- All windows clean
- Lawns mowed and edged
- Walkways clear
- All hoses coiled
- Pet items and Children's toys removed
- Garage door closed
- Hide garbage and recycling bins
